My teaching and curriculum design changes depending on what kinds of music making my students find joyful and engaging. In private lessons, This often leads us to developing technique, music theory, and listening skills through learning pop/rock songs of artists that the students already like, and expanding to other styles and genres from there. I highly value dancing and singing as core ways to access a deeper internalized feeling of music and incorporate that into lessons when possible.

Cameron is available to lead workshops covering a variety of topics, and for participants of all ages: Grades K - 5, Middle/High School, College, and those in non-academic settings.
