Cameron (he/they) is a percussionist, composer, and educator living in Dekalb County, GA whose work exists at the intersection of ethereal soundscapes and visceral rhythmic drive. Their music is a living ecosystem, organically weaving together ambient textures with propulsive beats, drawing lessons from the intricate rhythms of the natural world, from the microscopic pulse of a cell to the grand cycles of the seasons. As a nationally renowned performer, Cameron is a 2017 YoungArts national finalist in music and a recipient of multiple fellowships and creative residencies, including the Hambidge Center for Creative arts and Sciences.
